Hanya & Gustaw (Poland)

Field Representative / Poland

Through FOI, Hanya and her husband Gustaw have graciously opened their mountain home to host numerous Jewish children from Ukraine since 1999. This remarkable initiative has provided these children with their first exposure to the Bible, allowing them to learn about God's Word and its teachings on redemption and Israel during their camp.

Since 2005, she has been responsible for overseeing the translation and distribution of 20 books published by The Friends of Israel into Polish. This unique opportunity has enabled the dissemination of biblical truths to a broader audience.

Furthermore, she has conducted weekly Bible studies via video conferencing for an international group of believers for several years. These studies have proven invaluable in fostering a deeper understanding of the Bible and revealing God's plan for Israel.

In the welcoming abode of Gustaw and Hanya, a program called "Holidays with the Bible" has been organized from May to October. This program brings together Holocaust survivors and their families, alongside Polish believers, to engage in Bible reading and develop a sense of trust in the Lord. Additionally, it serves as a place of solace and rejuvenation for Jewish acquaintances from Poland, Israel, Ukraine, Germany, and the Czech Republic.

One of her most significant ministries involves Ukraine. She frequently visits the country to support and accompany Tetiana in her ministry. Given her role as an FOI representative from a neighboring nation, her presence brings solace and comfort to Ukrainian Jews enduring immense suffering due to the ongoing war.
